Tell me more about Sweet Tangerine handbags

All handbags are made of a heavy-duty cotton canvas and vegan leather bottom. Every item is handmade (by me!) in my studio in Chico, Ca. You can spot clean your bags, or remove the handle (if applicable), and wash in the washing machine on gentle cycle and lay flat to dry. The Belt Bag and Waxed Canvas Bags are spot clean only.

A bag is sold out/out of stock, will it come back?

Possibly! All Sweet Tangerine bags are made in small batches, so if they are sold out, it is possible they will be restocked in the near future. If you are interested in a bag that is sold out, shoot me a message to see if/when it will be restocked!

How do I care for my Sweet Tangerine jewelry?

Many metals have a tendency to oxidize or tarnish when they come in contact with your skin. Body oils, sweat, water, and exposure to air can all contribute to this process. Over time your piece may patina, creating a well-loved, vintage look (which some people prefer!). To help slow this process, it is best to store your jewelry in a sealed bag, in a dark, dry spot when not wearing. Never wear your Sweet Tangerine pieces swimming or in the shower.

Depending on the metal used in your piece, you can use a jewelry polishing cloth to bring it back to life. Raw brass pieces can also be cleaned with a mixture of cool water & mild soap, then immediately dry. For pieces that need a little more cleaning, soak your raw brass jewelry in a cup of white vinegar for a few minutes to restore the shine. Another option is using Brasso to clean your pieces.

You can also coat your raw brass piece with a sealant such as Eternal Jewelry Coating to prevent the oxidation of your piece.

I cannot accept any returns due to natural tarnishing due to wear.

Are Beaded Boho Necklaces one-of-a-kind?

They sure are! There are only one of each available in the shop. Due to the nature of the variations of the stone pendants no two necklaces are alike, providing pieces that are one-of-a-kind and unique to you.

When will my order ship?

Orders process within 2-5 days of order placement. After processing, Totes typically ship Priority USPS (1-3 business days), and all other items ship USPS Ground Advantage (2-5 business days). Any order that the total shipment weight is over 14 lbs will ship UPS Ground (5 business days). Orders ship Monday-Friday.

If an item is made-to-order and takes longer to produce, it will be specified on the individual product listing.

*Bulk orders are subject to a longer processing time/shipping time. Any order over 14 lbs may be subject to increase shipping fees. You will be emailed an adjusted price for bulk shipping. Please message me for any inquiries!

Once an order leaves our shop it is out of our hands. Sweet Tangerine is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged packages.

Do you ship Internationally?

Currently, we only ship within the United States.

Do you do custom orders?

At this time, I am not taking any custom orders.

My order is a gift. Can you include a gift message?

Yes! Leave your note in the gift message section at checkout and we will hand-write and attach it to your order for the recipient.

Do you accept returns/exchanges?

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase you may return/exchange the item within 14 days of purchase date. The item must be in perfect, unused condition, and in original packaging. Once we receive and inspect your returned item, your refund will be processed. The customer is responsible for paying the costs of shipping the item back to Sweet Tangerine. The costs of shipping are non-refundable and non-negotiable. If you are issued a refund/exchange, the cost of the orginal shipping will be deducted from the total.

All sale items & custom orders are non-returnable & non-exchangeable. All are final sale.

Once an order has been processed & shipped, it is then entered into the return policy terms. No order cancellations after the order has been processed/shipped.

I cannot accept any returns or exchanges if your item was purchased outside of my website, such as at an in person event or local retailer.

Do you repair jewelry?

Sometimes things happen, and your beloved piece of Sweet Tangerine jewelry needs a repair. We will accept repairs for up to 30 days of your purchase date. The customer is responsible for paying the costs of shipping the item back to Sweet Tangerine. The repair is dependant on if we have the same materials in stock at that time.
